MEET RECAP & RESULTS – IPA Strength of Heroes 2025

Day 1 was absolutely incredible! @cwyllie_seal made such a beautiful and inspiring speech for our opening ceremonies that it radiated throughout the entire day!! Thank you so much Chris for coming and making such a wonderful impact! Thank you to all of the competitors, the platform crew, the judges, Bain the MC, my amazing mother in law, Matt @indestructiblemfg for making our best lifter trophies they came out so sick! @william.lee9 @wleeknives for making those beautiful knives! Our food truck @impracticalsmokersny for serving the most delicious food, Moments in power for taking killer pics! The Billy Mac Band for playing great tunes, Ray and our door/ security crew, to everyone who has donated so far, our sponsors, and to my wonderful husband I love you, This event is what powerlifting is all about! Strength of Heroes 2025 Pro Day, day 2! WOW! So many pr’s, incredible ATWR’s by both men and women and so much more! I’m going to put up another post as soon as I digest all of this, and gather more of my thoughts. The weekend overall was literally our best yet and for a great cause @mightyoaksfndn
It was so great to see and watch everyone kill it! I just wanted to thank everyone for coming both competitors and spectators, thank you to the entire platform crew, judges, door crew, security, Bain the extraordinary amazing MC, Judy for rocking the merch table all of our sponsors (I will name everyone on my next post) Here are a couple of pictures I just wanted to share! Spring Mania 2025 what a day!! All of these athletes killed it!! Big shout out to Team BCB!! Y’all totally ROCKED!! Special mention: @wpriemer77 We have a new 1050lb squatter on the team!! Will got a 550lbs total PR today 1050, 625, 700 = 2375 total at 308lbs this was his 3rd meet ever!! So much more to write about, so many great lifts and experiences!! Stay tuned!! Thank you everyone who came out to join us all of the lifters and spectators we appreciate you more than you know!! Strength of Heroes 4 is a wrap!! What a weekend it was! Everyone killed it! The energy and support for this meet was electric. I got to meet so many new people, and we had people come for the first time to experience what this event is all about! This meet is very near and dear to our hearts and every year this meet gets better and better. The reason for that is the competitors thank you for choosing our meet, people who come to support their friends, family, teammates, and the people who help me make this meet such a success. It’s a TEAM effort for sure! This meet is a 9/11 Remembrance meet and we raise money for all different charities to help support our first responders and veterans. This year our charity of choice is Tunnels to Towers and it was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out for this event from near and far. Thank you to our judges, Donna, Lloyd, Cord and Dakota( actually she did a little bit of everything) Thank you to Bain!! For being the best announcer and platform LEGEND out there!! Thank you to my Blue Collar Barbell Crew for keeping everyone safe, and working your asses off for 3 days straight. STRENGTH OF HEROES 2022 in the books! WOW is all I can say! Two tremendous days of love, generosity, support, and POWERLIFTING! We would like to thank everyone who came out to help support this event! Our Sponsors!! Every lifter, coach and spectator who came out to help support Paws Of War All of the competitors who put it all out there regardless of the outcome you all KILLED IT! It was an honor to have you all join us on this very special weekend that means so much to all of us as AMERICANS! Thank you to all of our first responders, and our service members for all that you do day in and day out to help keep us safe and FREE!! Thank you to Jay the love of my life for all you do for this event all year long, for not stopping for days to make sure every little detail was taken care of I love you! May 10th, 2022What a great event!! I think everyone who competed hit PR’s! Jess Goldstein Benched 175lbs at 97lbs BW! Derrick Benjamin benched 560lbs at 220lbs BW!! Matt Pinto totaled 1200lbs at his first ever meet raw! Always great to have Pete Sessa and Anthony Pinto on the platform killing it! Pete welcome back!!! Dan Fennessy rocked a huge deadlift! MEET RESULTS – Summer Heat Championships, 06/05/2021

Another great meet in the books! Saturday June 5th was such a huge success all the way around!! Everyone killed it!! We had people of all levels join us! Our guys killed it! Will totaled 1777 800sq, 425 bench, 550 deadlift just missed a 500lb bench!! Dan came in super strong with a 170lb over all total pr and went 9/9!! He had a 755 sq, 450bench, 615 deadlift he totaled 1840lbs at 242lbs and James 875sq, 425bench, 630lbs deadlift he totaled 1940lbs at 175lbs BW!! That’s over 11x body weight with a 165lb pr total!! To say How proud we are of everyone is an understatement!! Thank you again to everyone who came out and helped spot, load, judge, and run the table it’s 100% a team effort. Thank you again to all of our competitors for choosing our meets to compete at, and to all of the spectators who help to support our sport!! We thank you!! Congrats to Coach Shawna Mendelson on being invited to the 2019 WPO Super Finals!
The finals will be held this year in St. Charles, Illinois, on October 28th.
The WPO is the most prestigious powerlifting event in the world! The best of the best strive to get to this stage, where 15 of the best women and 15 of the best men will go head to head.
