A big congrats are in order for BCB Team Member Jim Scheller, who broke the IPA Junior Amateur Raw World Squat record this past weekend in York, PA!
Blue Collar Barbell team member Jim Scheller competed this past weekend in the 2014 IPA Pennsylvania State Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships, held in York, PA. The competition was held on March 1st, 2014; at the York Barbell USA Weightlifting Hall of Fame. Jim was handled by fellow BCB Team member Victor Dellacroce.
He broke his own previous record in the 181 Junior Raw Amateur class with a monster 545lb squat!
Jim finished the day with a 545lb squat, 365lb bench, and 495lb deadlift. Jim currently holds the IPA Junior Raw Amateur Men’s Squat, Deadlift, and Total record in the 181lb weight class! Look for Jim to come out and break the Men’s Open Amateur Raw Squat World Record in his next meet. Congrats Jim!
